Field of expertise: Practical theology
Research area: Pentecostal theology, with particular emphasis on the intersection between systematic and practical theology.
Background: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (Diakonhjemmet – VID), Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Theology (Alphacrucis College, Sydney), and Master’s degree in Leadership and Church Development (Ansgar University College). Øystein has had various roles within free evangelical and Pentecostal-charismatic churches, including as a worship leader, counsellor, and elder. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Oslo Bønnehus.
