Background:
PhD Candidate at Oslo Metropolitan University, specializing in research on the livestreaming of child sexual abuse. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the Netherlands and a Master’s degree in Slavery and Liberation from the University of Nottingham, England.
Previous research experience includes work with The Netherlands Institute of Human Rights, focusing on human trafficking, as well as participation in European research initiatives addressing children and crime. Author of #Slavetech: A Snapshot of Slavery in the Digital Age.
