Field of expertise: Slavery, Human Rights, and Research Methods.
Background: BA in Social Work form the Netherlands. Master in Slavery and Liberation from the University of Nottingham. Has written the book #Slavetech -a snapshot of slavery in a digital age together with professor Kevin Bales. Has earlier done research on human trafficking for the Dutch Institute of Human Rights and participated in research on social marginalisation and crime among children for the European Commission.
