As a student at HLT, you gain access to the world’s largest theological e-library – the Digital Theological Library (DTL).
DTL contains over 1.5 million e-books and more than 104 million articles, and it continues to grow. It is user-friendly and can be accessed from anywhere in the world, as long as you have an internet connection. E-books can be read directly online, and some can be downloaded as PDF files to your own device.
DTL represents a significant advancement for HLT and for you as a student. As a co-owner of DTL, we also have the opportunity to purchase new books. Feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions.
Access to DTL is exclusive to HLT students. Sharing your username and password with anyone who is not a student at HLT is strictly prohibited! When you reach the login page, select “Norwegian School of Leadership and Theology”. Your password is your student number.

Overall, access to DTL will significantly reduce students’ costs for required textbooks, although a small library fee of NOK 650 applies.
DTL is constantly expanding – just this year, the library has grown by over 100,000 books!
If you have any questions about DTL, please contact Daniel Skjæraasen. He is usually in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
