Student ID

All new students are asked to appear in person at the school to register during the first week. Students who take a minimum of 10 credits per semester will be issued a student certificate. The student ID card is an identity document that shows that the holder is a student at HLT and is used, among other things, as identification at exams, to get student discounts when traveling, etc. The student ID is delivered via the mobile app (KortFri) which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play (www.kortfri.no).

When registering, we ask students to bring the following:

• Valid identification with photo (e.g. passport, driver’s license)
• Original certificates (check the information letter you receive before the start of the semester for further information on this)
• Semester fee must be paid, as well as SiO/SiS fees

As long as the student is an active student at HLT and pays semester fees (incl. SiO/SiS fee), the student will automatically have their student ID extended.
